Living life from the heart is connecting to your intuition, an infinite well of love, deep peace, the spirit and soul in everyone and all of nature. Modern day science is discovering more and more that the heart has a wisdom and power that can positively transform ourselves, others and the world.
Did you know that your heart emits electromagnetic fields 5,000 times greater than that of your brain that change according to your emotions? Researchers at the Institute of HeartMath have examined how the heart and brain communicate with each other and how that affects our consciousness and the way in which we perceive our world. Their research has shed light on a number of interesting facts, for example, when a person is feeling really positive emotions such as gratitude, love, or appreciation, the heart beats out a large electromagnetic field that not only has a positive affect on others but can even create a positive effect on the electromagnetic field of the earth!
The Institute of HeartMath calls this state of being “achieving heart coherence” – a scientifically validated state in which your heart and brain are energetically aligned and cooperating with one another. When you experience this coherence, you may feel an inner calm and other positive emotions that decrease stress and improve your well being, mental clarity, cognitive functioning and performance.
